Volunteer Opportunities with RAP:
Ice Cream - The Ice Cream program is a fundraiser run by RAP volunteers. Parents may purchase an ice cream card which allows their child to have ice cream each Friday throughout the school year. Cards are $35 for elementary and middle school students.
Volunteer Needs:
Staff Appreciation - Multiple events are held during the year to show our teachers and staff how much we appreciate all that they do. We host catered lunches and provide gifts and treats throughout the school year. In the spring, we recognize all staff during teacher appreciation week.
Volunteer Needs:
Clothes Closet – The clothes closet is for those in need of gently used uniform items when we are in between uniform ordering periods. Parents will complete an online form requesting the items they need. Our clothes closet volunteers will pull those items from the closet and send home with the student. The clothes closet is stocked with uniform items donated by parents.
Volunteer Needs:
Uniforms/RAP Wear – RAP is responsible for ordering and distributing uniforms for ARS. We maintain the uniform website and work with our vendor on designs and orders. We also design a special RAP wear design each year which can be worn as a uniform. Orders are sorted, packaged, and delivered by RAP volunteers.
Volunteer Needs:
ARS Fundraising - RAP coordinates several fundraisers for ARS throughout the school year. Past fundraisers have included: discount cards, butter braids, holiday shop, Great Wolf Lodge, restaurant nights, etc. We are always open to new fundraising ideas.
Volunteer Needs:
Book Fair – RAP hosts a Scholastic Book Fair twice a year (spring and fall). The book fair is set up for a 2-week period and student and parents are allowed to shop.
Volunteer Needs:
ARS Golf Classic & Gala – RAP hosts the annual ARS Golf Classic & Gala. Events include a golf tournament, live auction, and dinner. This is the largest ARS fundraiser of the year.
