Our 2024 Capital Campaign is a pivotal initiative that will provide necessary funds to allocate towards much-needed updates and improvements to our campus and elementary and intermediate schools, as well as pay off debts. These updates are crucial to ensure that our facilities match the high standard of education we provide, offering our students an environment conducive to learning and growth.
The American Renaissance School RAISE capital campaign is dedicated to enhancing our educational facilities, including our elementary and intermediate schools. The funds will be allocated towards vital updates, reflecting our commitment to providing a high-quality learning environment.
Key enhancements include upgrades to the Gym & Activity Center and the development of an ADA Accessible Playground, as well as other major ARS campus updates. These projects aim to promote hands-on learning and physical activity.
One of the most exciting aspects of this campaign is the fund allocation towards the new Science and Arts Center. This center is housed in the historic Statesville Record and Landmark building. This center is a hub for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) classes, as well as a vibrant venue for the arts including chorus, band, drama, and art. Also, the Center boasts a black box theatre, an adaptable performance space that will be shared with the community for events and shows. This innovative inclusion underlines the dual role of ARS as an educational institution and a pillar of the local community.
By supporting this campaign, you're not just contributing to a cause; you're investing in our students, the revitalization of our downtown community, and the future of education. Your support helps us create an environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
As a charter school, we receive academic funding from the North Carolina Department of Public Education but lack state funds for facility costs. That’s why your donations to the school are so important to its continued and growing success.
