Ms. Litaker's 100th Yellow Ticket Celebration

For their 100th yellow ticket celebration, Ms. Litaker's students wanted to bring their favorite stuffed animal to school.

A yellow ticket is a Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) reward for something great done by the class, such as great behavior, outstanding patience, awesome work - especially showing one of our core values! So it's kind of a big deal!

These kindergarteners read to their stuffed animals, taught their stuffies the letters of the alphabet, the sounds they make, and the sight words for the week. They did math (addition and subtraction) with them, and they incorporated the animals into role plays when talking about Integrity, which is the ARS core value of the month.

It was quite a fulfilling experience for them!
