Important Dates


  • Monday evening is Curriculum Night at ARS, featuring Language Arts and Social Studies. The evening begins at 5:30 with food and fellowship. Presentations will follow in the classrooms.
  • There will be a Meet and Greet on Monday at the Middle School for rising 6th graders and their parents. Please join us at 4:30 before the Curriculum night to learn more about the Middle School.
  • The First Tee class will meet on Monday at 4:30 at Statesville Country Club.
  • The Rainbow Kidz Grief Support Group will have its first meeting on Monday at 2:30 at the Middle School. It is not too late to join this group, which is open to all 4-8th grade students The program is free but requires the permission form that was emailed to families earlier last week.
  • The Fire Safety Quiz Bowl Teams will be competing in the state competition in Charlotte on Tuesday.
  • On Saturday April 25th there will be a 1/2 day snow make-up day from 8-11:30.
  • Band and Chorus groups will be competing on Saturday at Carowinds.
  • There is a group of students and alumni forming a team to run in a 5K on Saturday to support the Rainbow Kidz Program.
