"I am Kara Piland and I am teaching 3rd grade this year. This is my first year as a teacher at ARS, but my 4th year teaching. My favorite part of teaching is interacting with my students and watching them grow in every aspect of their lives over the course of the year. I love looking back and realizing that a child who used to find something incredibly difficult is suddenly doing it with ease!
I have three children and I am thrilled that two of them will be with me at ARS this year. My favorite subject is math and I love playing math games and doing puzzles, even outside of the classroom!" - Ms. Piland
