NC Dept. of Corrections Makes Donation to ARS

Last Updated 7/19/2021

On January 2, 2018, the North Carolina Department of Public Corrections, Adult Correction division donated over $200 to American Renaissance School! These funds were collected as part of a casual Friday donation program within the division. Dennis Goins, Chief Probation / Parole Officer, and Chappel Miller, Probation / Parole Officer, decided ARS was the best local non-profit to receive these funds.

As a public charter school, ARS relies greatly on the support of our community. Charter schools are funded at a lower rate than regular public schools, so community support is essential for us to continue our vision to be the best choice for K-8 public education in North Carolina.

Pictured below is Jessica Duncan, Elementary Campus Principal, and Andrea Leluika, Middle Campus Principal, accepting the check on behalf of ARS from Goins and Miller.
