We are excited to welcome our ARS families for the 2021-2022 school year

A Message from the ARS Health & Safety Committee:

The ARS Board of Directors met for their regular monthly meeting on March 8, 2022. The Health & Safety Committee presented their monthly report including a review of the new CDC COVID-19 Community Level Tool that was released on February 25, 2022.  

COVID-19 Community Levels

ARS will continue:1. Operating under Plan 1 (masks optional) 2. Masks will be RECOMMENDED but not REQUIRED on all ARS public transportation 

  1. We will continue to comply with all CATS requirements accordingly

 3. Masks will be RECOMMENDED but not REQUIRED for in-school exposures by grade level 

  1. Families will be notified by grade-level of in-school positive COVID-19 exposures

The Board of Directors voted in favor of the following recommendations by the Health & Safety Committee:

1. Masks will be RECOMMENDED but not REQUIRED for all visitors on both ARS campuses
As of March 8, 2022 in Iredell County, community level is currently LOW (green). ARS currently has zero active positive COVID-19 reported cases.
