Crystal Ingersoll, Middle School Visual Arts Teacher
Ms. Crystal Ingersoll is the Middle School Visual Arts Teacher here at American Renaissance School.
"I became the permanent art teacher at ARS in January 2023. I love it here. I found my work family home. I have been a teacher and a professional artist for over 20 years now. The most important thing to teach about art is how it is part of everything. No matter what career your child chooses, there is someone creating art that represents or is required for that career. We need artists and we need people to appreciate art. The spectrum of art is so wide and diverse. Art is used for entertainment, science, technology, mental heath, cultural expression, and many others uses. My goal as an art teacher is to help each student appreciate art and see how creative they can be without the pressure of being perfect. Art is a place to explore materials and find what sparks their interest. Thank you for allowing me to share my passion for art with your child." - Ms. Ingersoll
