STEM Robotics Club

Last Updated 1/18/2023In Clubs, Homepage Feed

STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) Club enriches and broadens curriculum, giving young people a chance to explore subjects like science, technology, engineering, and math in less formal settings. The goal of these programs is to provide additional opportunities for students to explore STEM careers, topics, and challenges through hands-on learning.

Recently, 1st-3rd grade STEM/Robotics Club students engaged in an engineering project using Legos and coding. Students created different builds using both critical thinking and their imaginations. Utilizing the Lego Spike app and corresponding coding kits, some students were able to build creations such as a working ferris wheel or swing.
