"The first year American Renaissance Middle School opened, I was an 8th grade student who had Mr. Duffey and Mr. Griffith as teachers. ARMS was just what I needed to have a better learning environment. A unique learning style and a true sense of community within the school are what made my experience at ARS vital to my future success. Now, over twenty years later, my two children are able to be part of this wonderful school! Teaching dance has always been my passion and now I get to share that with boys and girls at Scotts Elementary. I appreciate ARS for allowing the arts to play such an important role within the school's curriculum.
