First Day of School
The FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL is August 10th for all Kindergarten - 8th grade students.
August 10th - 12th: Half day for Kindergarten students with Dismissal at 11:00am.

For arrival/dismissal, we will be using PikMyKid for dismissal during our orientation days. If you are a new student, you will receive an email with your child’s PikMyKid tag id. Please download the PikMyKid app and register your account.
Please be sure you have your car tag WITH your 3-digit dismissal ID number. If your tag is missing the number, please email [email protected] to get the number and write it on your tag in thick, black ink. Please be sure you have this displayed in your vehicle or on your smartphone on Monday.
If your student attended our school last year, their PikMyKid dismissal ID number has not changed, and if you previously registered for the parent app, you're already set up! If you're new to PikMyKid this system allows enhanced safety and better management of our dismissal process. Using the optional parent app, you can designate your student as a walker or car rider, and you can delegate pickup to another adult. The app also allows you to "announce" yourself when you arrive in the car line to help our staff keep the process running smoothly.
For registration: Search your smartphone's App Store or Play Store for the PikMyKid Parent app. Your student will be automatically linked to your account based on your cell phone number. If you have any trouble, please contact [email protected]

Our first uniform ordering window will be closing at 5:00 pm on July 12th. Only orders placed by the 12th will be available for pick up before school starts. Everyone will need to purchase the navy polo with the ARS Gryphon embroidered for the first day of school. Please only order 1 polo per student as there are limited quantities. As this is a new polo shirt color and logo, there are not any in the clothes closet to hand out this year.
To receive your uniform items BEFORE school starts, you will need to place your online order by 5:00 pm on JULY 12, 2022. To place your order, please use this link to the uniform website: ARS Uniform Store.
Orders placed by July 12th will be available for pick up the first week of August. More information about pick dates and time will be sent out closer to August. If you have any questions regarding uniforms, please email [email protected].
You can still place orders after the July 12th date but they will not be available for pick up until late August/early September. RAP wear designs and tye-dye shirts are coming soon.
MyPaymentsPlus allows parents to pay fees and sign up and pay for field trips and other activities using an eCheck or credit/debit card. MyPaymentsPlus also allows our families to complete open house paperwork online! We're sure this will make it easier for our families and staff to make and keep track of school payments. Please note that we will utilize MyPaymentsPlus for all payments to the school again this year; we do not accept cash or paper checks.

TransportationWe will continue transportation services for the 2022/2023 school year.
- * We will use two satellite stops, Statesville YMCA and The Boys and Girls Club, this school year for transportation services.
- * Buses are limited to 23 students and one bus monitor.
- * Sign ups are first come, first serve and will close on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 5pm.
We want to provide this service for all students but especially those that are in need of a ride to and from school every day.
