ARSYAA

ARS Youth Athletic Association (ARSYAA) is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that strives to promote fun and safe enrichment opportunities to the K-5 youth of ARS Charter School through athletic programs for young boys and girls. The entire program is supported by Volunteers (Board members, Coaches and Coordinators). Our purpose is to develop a complete athletic program emphasizing sportsmanship, basic skills and teamwork, to learn the rules of various Sports, to develop strong boys and girls with individual competencies through practice and individual skills and to provide the opportunity to participate in an organized athletic program.

ARSYAA is part of the South Iredell Young Athletes Association (SIYAA). As a member of the SIYAA we have the opportunity to be a part of a conference with representatives on the SIYAA parent board. The combination of signup fees, gate fees, donations and sponsorships from our local community are used to better our athletic programs, maintain fields, gyms and equipment, pay certified referees and umpires and incidental costs that may be incurred. The SIYAA also grants two, $1,000.00 College Scholarship each year one for a boy and one for a girl who has participated in at least one season of SIYAA sports.

ARSYAA Board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month and all parents are invited to attend. For the monthly meeting location and time, please visit our Facebook Page.
