Admission to American Renaissance School requires the completion of an application by both the students and parents. Students are chosen based on a lottery system.

Applications for the 2011 - 2012 school year are now available.

All applicants must complete an application and return to school prior to the designated deadline.  This includes siblings that are interested in attend ARS.  Applicants must provide all information requested in the application.  Failure to complete the application in full will remove your application from consideration.  If the number of applications exceeds the number of slots available, a lottery date will be set, applicants notified, and a lottery held to fill openings.  All other applications will be placed on a waiting list set by the lottery.

The lottery process is set by State Law and the school follows all sections of the law outlined by the State of North Carolina.

Applications can be picked up at the front desk of either the middle school building at 217 S. Center St. or the elementary school building at 111 Cooper St.

All applications are due by March 11, 2011.

The lottery will be held on March 22, 2011.
