Ms. Greer's Kindergarten Supply List 2011-2012

**Please do not substitute if a certain brand is requested.

The following items need to be in a small pencil box with your student's name on a piece of tape on the box so that I can take it off easily.  I will give the students a name tag that models D'Nealian handwriting, our school's choice of writing, to refer to throughout the year.

• Staples or Crayola brand twist-up crayons
• 1 pair Fiskar brand scissors
• 1 pencil (sharpened) with the remainder of the pack to go into Community Items
• 1 HUGE glue stick

The following are Community Items.  Do not write names on these items.

• Remainder of the pack of pencils
• 1 box Crayola Classic thick, washable markers
• 1 box Crayola thin markers
• 1 pack of Play-Doh brand play dough
• Crayola water paint set
• 4 containers of Clorox Wipes
• 2 boxes of Dixie Cups - 5 oz.
• 2 boxes tissues
• 2 packs white copy paper
• 1 small, durable flashlight
• 1 bag of candy (no lollipops please)
• 1 pack of multi-colored dry erase markers
• 1 pack of colored tissue paper for Art
• 1 pair of Fiskar scissors for Art - blunt tip

The following items need to be labeled with your child's name:

• 1 beach towel for quiet time OR the Kinder Mat (your choice)
• 1 set of extra clothes in a Ziploc Baggie (These do not need to be uniform)
• 1 backpack (no wheels)
• Please be prepared to purchase Weekly Reader or Studies Weekly (not sure which yet) - $7.00
