CHORUS

The chorus is open to 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th grade students who enjoy singing.  The group will rehearse together weekly and perform in December.  Students must be attentive and participate fully by giving their best at rehearsals and in concerts.    All students must be able to focus and contribute to the music of the group with outstanding effort.  This Attendance will be required at rehearsals and performances unless the absence is excused because of illness, doctor appointments, etc.  I will determine if a student has missed too many rehearsals in order to participate.

Snack will not be a part of our chorus time.  Students will be allowed to bring water bottles as needed.  If a student needs to have a snack before rehearsal, they may ask their teacher if they can eat it at the end of a class.  Snack will not be provided.  Please note that this is different from last year.

Space will be limited to those who are able to focus, work, and enjoy the music.  Students who are more interested in talking and do not cooperate with good behavior will not be allowed to continue to participate.

Please note-

Many students look forward to our spring performance at Carowinds.  Performing at Carowinds this year will be by invitation only, so don't count on it unless you are willing to work hard!    Students will have to earn the privilege of participating in this event by showing great effort and focus on the music.
